After receiving the Seal-Of-Excellence from the European Union SME Instrument program under the umbrella of the H2020 framework, Pharmacelera has been awarded an Horizonte Pyme grant from the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness (Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad, agreement SME-2016-0854-10). “This grant will boost the development of our computing platform in the cloud to identify better leads and improve the pharmaceutical R+D productivity”, says Enric Gibert, CEO of the company. In fact, “this is a recognition to our efforts to develop disruptive solutions in a market that requires continuous innovation to find treatments for unmet medical needs”, he adds. The Horizonte Pyme program is the Spanish national semi-equivalent to the H2020 SME Instrument at the European level, which supports top class innovators, entrepreneurs and small companies with funding opportunities and acceleration services.
